2. How much money do you have in savings? Only you know what your current financial situation is.

If you start a home business, and constantly have to tap your existing savings account, eventually you will run out of money. This can become a very stressful situation and really affect how you go about working your home business every day.

3. Do you have Internet marketing skills? Once you get past the financial aspect of running a home business you have to get down to the marketing of it.

The Internet is very competitive. Because more people are coming online, and setting up home businesses all the time, this is not going to change much.

The bottom line is you need website visitors every day if you expect to become successful online. Think of your Internet business as a retail store in a mall.

If you do not have enough people coming to your store every day you are not going to sell anything. Eventually you will have to close your business because of this fact.

The good news is learning how to get traffic to a website is not something you have to a college for. If you are willing to spend some time learning how to get traffic to your website it is something anyone can do.

The good thing about learning Internet traffic skills is you can apply these to any kind of Internet business. This is why you see so many Internet marketers branching into multiple niches with more than one website or blog.

When your home business reaches this level your income will be increasing. At that point you can seriously consider quitting your day job and staying at home full time.
